Believe it or not, yesterday I actually used duct tape for taping two sections of duct together! After having gone through about 5 rolls of the stuff in my life, that's only the second time.

BTW, it works good for ducts too!

Don't you just hate it when people pronounce it 'duck tape'?

Duct tape is guaranteed to protect you in gas attack. It's designed to seal ducts. You only need to place a 4 inch strip across your nose and mouth. It's effective against any gas.

What if you used the duct tape to tie the person's fingers together so they couldn't press the button to launch the bomb? Than there wouldn't be any radiation. Or you could hit them with your 2 feet of steel.

Sadly, many people will probably attempt something like this and end up killing themselves.

What's sad about that?

I used to pronounce it "tuck tape". At the time, I didn't know what a 'duct' was... (I was young).

Duct tape once saved a canoe trip for me. On the second day of a 5 day trip we were running some rapids in a rented fiberglass canoe and ran into a rock. The bow split open and water started to gush in. Without that roll of duct tape our trip would have been over.

By the way, fiberglass was not what we had reserved from the rental company. We had reserved a poly3 canoe but they screwed up and ended up with a busted canoe for the mistake.
