Aside from shear venting, his thread is currently serving at least two poitive functions:

1) It has provided many of us with a chance to reacquaint with fellow CF members who have been banned in a recent purge of that site.

2) It has provided us with a means of learning what is hapening to other members, since we aren't allowed to post such information in public over there.

No, 3 whole things that are positive:

3) The bitching is a positive thing! …positively!

Boy, that felt good. :P

Hi Tenek, I'm glad you got that off your chest. I think you missed a few, but it's a good start.

OK, but please keep in mind that there is a whole lot of iidb outside of this cramped little CF Ghetto, and everyone is welcome to interact more in other threads.

I assumed the following identities at CF:
BlueSubmarine
notMichaelJackson
Scottster
King of Wishful Thinking
Karma Chameleon
and finally, Mouse

They have some kind of auto-ban on my computer, keeping me from maintaining an account for more than a few hours.

Hey all, I'd like to echo what pz said. We're glad to have you all here and you are most welcome.

There is a lot to IIDB. Feel free to post in any of the forums that you are able to post in.

For the theists here, there is only one restriction. In the Secular Lifestyle & Support Forum, only Secular support is allowed. But theists can give secular support as well as nontheists.

This site grants much more freedom than CF, it actually works unlike www.faithforum.org, and the moderators don't b**** about "wasting bandwidth" like they do at www.sciforums.com. Keep on rockin' in the Infidel World!

Um, hi. Strangely, this is the first time I've noticed this thread. I go by Zadok001 over on CF as well, but I post here more regularly. Basically limiting myself to the 'science' forum on CF, trying to help out LadyShea and company against the raving hordes.

Good to see the CF folks have escaped their bonds...

Some of us under better circumstances than others. Looks like I avoided the omnipresent bootheel of a rather Orwellian faith. (In some places, anyways.)

Well it's just the List. No particular point other than that.

Say, does anyone know Erwin's email address so I can make my case for returning (in the event that I want to do so)?

Clear your cookies and click on email the staff, it should work if your using OE.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I like CF, I like apologetics I like playing in the arcade, and I like the people there for the most part, I don't see any reason to complain anymore over here, if your not a Christian then I would just stay away if you feel unwelcome there. And for those of you liberals, I don't see what you have to complain about, if you stray from biblical doctrine to the point of it being distorted, then what can the staff do?

They have rules and they have to go by them. Your on their playing field.

This may have been a good venting thread for y'all, but I have to say that CF is my favorite place to hang out. IIDB has some good science and other forums, but I am more in tune with CF.
