Did we miss this part:

According to the lawsuit, Morse grabbed the banner out of Frederick's hands, and later doubled his five-day suspension when, during a meeting with her, he quoted one of Thomas Jefferson's statements about free speech.

I find this fact to be totally ludicrous that a teacher doubles the punishment for mentioning free-speech?

I'll be go-ta-hell if that doesn't both suck and blow.

In the old days that was called "sassing back". Now it's "lack of respect".
