No.
Whew! That's a relief.

Are you attributing your "strange thoughts" to some imaginary guy in the sky?
The thought did cross my mind.

I heard of a guy who had strange thoughts that he was sure were coming from a space-ship that had abducted him and implanted a non-detectable receiving device in his brain! I can't think of a single way to prove he's mistaken, and he probably won't hurt anybody just cause he believes this, so I wouldn't suggest he seek help either.
Did he miss the ride on the comet that the other guys took a trip on? What was the name of that comet again? Hmm ... Halebob or something like that.

Care to give me your address?

Wink

Why do you want my address? Couldn't you just ask your God to tell you it?

Cool

Mr. Bender I must applaud you! This is a first! This is the first time that I have ever heard of the "their characters are set" defense in response to freewill, Satan, and heaven.

I MUST mark this day on my calandar! This may well be the birth of a new apologetic defense!

You get an B+ for creativity and an A- for being a good sport.

Now back to business: how do you know this? Are you omniscient?

Oh, I suppose I could but I doubt if He would give it to me if my intentions were to cause you harm. Besides, why should I have to ask Him when I just got done asking you? And having asked you without successfully obtaining it what makes you think He would violate your rights to privacy against someone that might cause you harm?

Disclaimer: In case someone reads this dialogue and fails to take note of the use of Instant Graemlins laced within the exchange, be adviced that -- NO, I really don't want Babelfish's address so that I might do bodily harm to him/her. It's just a joke, folks.

Wow agapeo, we've really taken this thread off topic, haven't we? Well, I started this topic, so I guess I can derail it if I want to!

So agapeo, if I were in trouble and needed someone to dial 911, THEN would your God tell you my address so you could come to my rescue?

That is your perogative. Keep in mind that one of my intentions was merely to provide filler during the absenses of Mr. Bender. Since he obviously has returned (having been notified of this topic) perhaps I'll exit right and let him take center stage.

Perhaps. Why do you ask? Do you need rescuing?

Reasoning regarding Biblical teachings, particularly in seeking to reasonably reconcile the idea of evil with a perfectly good God and an initially perfect Creation.

Cool

I'd ask for scripture to back your assertions but I don't believe the Bible is a product of a God anyhow so I guess it's a moot point.

Besides, a lengthy debate would cut into my ever so precious photoshop time!

Bib over and out.

Douglas needs to read Isaiah 45:6-7. There, it says that God created evil. Of course, you will have to go to the original Hebrew to get that reading, since most modern translators won't translate it literally.
