What do you think I am hiding from you? I am an atheist, not because I am angry with my father (who was a non-believer) or for any other reason than the lack of evidence. I would be happy to follow a religious belief, but they are all deficient in one way or another. I have no need to distort the record to support my beliefs or lack thereof.

You, on the other hand, claimed to be a neutral observer who picked Christianity on the basis of the discredited Pascal's Wager and thoroughly discredited beliefs in prophecy. You won't even answer the logical arguments in this thread against using prophecy as proof of anything.

Prophesies remind me of a broken clock. And,even a broken clock is right twice a day.

not to beat a dead horse.. but 1. no one here has proved that the restoration prophecies were self-fulfilled and 2. after having studied the historical issues here i am convinced that they were not self-fulfilled and 3. i have formed this belief based on my research, study and even original source research, so i dont think i have anything to "come clean" about as to this.I am not expecting anyone here to agree with me but i am being intellectually honest about it.

ok KOsh, when you were a committed evangelizing christian , how many people did you lead to salvation? and now you are a committed proseltyzing atheist, how many have you convinced to abandon their faith? is it a net gain or net loss, or about even? (how many marriages have you had?)
