If it is true that learning about evolution causes one to run amok, be immoral, disobey the law, kill, maim, etc., how come we hardly ever hear about evolutionary biologists going on crime sprees or copulating in public places?

I just remembered the stupidest thing I ever heard, re: Noah's Ark. It was in answer to how Noah and his family dealt with all the *merde* that number of animals would produce. The answer was: Before the animals boarded the Ark, Noah trained them all to defecate into buckets, which the family would empty two or three times a day. Urine? The floors the animals were standing on were tilted, so it would flow out holes in the sides of the Ark.

I think this was a Henry Morris gem, but I'm not sure.

ha ha. that's some job they have there, disposing of thousands of tons of feces, all day long, one bucket at a time. i bet it was also fun training newts to deficate in a bucket.

I thought ICR was the one espousing the pseudo-hibernation idea (God slowed down their metabolism, so they wouldn't eat, drink, or defecate as much--and also numbed the carnivore's appetite for their fellow passengers). Maybe that was another of the lunatic fringe.

And the number of animals that boarded the Ark was the same after a year because animals don't mate in the dark. I learned that at a lecture a few months ago on the "true story" of Noah's Ark.

I may be wrong, but I think that the "pooping in buckets" gibberish originated withnone other than "John Woodmorappe".
