Signs of the times ?
'Avoid undue elation in prosperity and avoid undue depression in
adversity', it was said by the sages in our distant past.A hard lesson to learn for the times we live in. Egos are flying sky high,second and third place are considered big losers.We want comforts more than we want wisdom.It's a pathetic situation altogether. We drive bigger SUV's with no passengers to carry,now it's a race to get a 'Humvee' it looks pretty,they say...nevermind little annoyances like extra gas. We watch the commercials eagearly,ready to buy,we 'need' more $$$ from Visa, Master Card,AX, as we get deeper into hell. We are living under a spell...is that our destiny as humanity ? Stll mind |
