If you had the power, would you kill all who were racist or evil?
If you had the power, would you kill all who were racist or evil?
Just think about it for a second. If you had infinite power on your hands, would you make it your duty to kill off people who discriminaye against others, or who are just plain evil? Be honest. I personaly probaly would, even though we will always have evil and racism, it's part of life unfourtanately. |

Though the terms 'racist' and 'evil' may be self-evident to some, it seems to me as if they may be equivocal terms and, thus, need further defining.
Thanks, simul iustus et peccator MNKBDKY p.s., since it is a supposition of mine that all humans are evil I would initially answer, No, we should all be allowed to act freely and reap the consequences of our choosen behavior. To destroy the evil would be to annihilate the human race as it is now. Thus, we need a further definition of what constitutes evil. p.s.s., it also seems that I may have sufficient reasons for allowing evil to continue to exist. |

I would kill everyone who was racist and\ or evil, but that's because I am evil...and competition makes me nervous.
Killing anything or anyone makes you a killer. And by someone's definition...evil. So, killers are evil. And so, killing the killers makes you evil and you need killed yourself. The best option is to kill yourself, thereby avoiding creating anyone else who needs to kill evil people so he can find himself in your situation of being a killer who needs killed...but since you're evil or racist you probably won't and will force the world to itself a favor and kill you. Look at the world today anyway, and now add the toll on life you're asking for.... Killing killing killing death mayhem explosions rocking areas suicide bombers retalliation and more bombing with a fatal shooting in a workplace and nowhere to run with pollution in the sky and water and richer and richer the richer get as poor worldwide work hard for nothing but more work and people kill each other and rage around for scraps of dust... I wouldn't join the circle unless I absolutely had too... more death is more death, period...evil or ugly or racist. BUt lash out if you need too...i know I have...not by killing...but everyine has a boiling point and plenty of bad ideas...and crazy things can and do happen... I just feel one should avoid such experiences for their and other"s well being. |

Everyone is racist - it's part of out monkety-brains, to separate the world into "them" and "us".
As for people who are evil ... I'd consider mandatory steilisation for them and any descendants they may have. |

How would you determine that someone was "racist" or "evil"?

Would this only include people who were racist or evil by my definition of said terms (evil is a very loose concept).
If not, unquestionably no. If so, is it my place to violate their rights? no. Is it my duty to protect the rights of the greatest number of people? I think so. Would I push that button? I really don't know, and I hope I never get a chance to find out. Edited to add: Thinking about it a little more, I find that I probably would. And in doing so, would meet those criteria, myself. |

Contratheos is right.
Means become ends. When you start killing people to prevent bad behavior, your own behavior has sunk to their level. This is the fallacy of the "war on terror." Even if George W. Bush killed all the world's terrorists (not bloody likely), that wouldn't solve terrorism. New terrorists would spring up. To eliminate terrorism, you have to eliminate its conditions: hopelessness, oppression, poverty, violence. Similarly with violence and racism. |

What a silly question (or maybe it's a trick question?)
Of course I wouldn't. If I had infinite power, I would turn all racist and evil and <insert your favourite uncool characteristic here> people into non-racist etc. However, if I only had infinite destructive power things might not look as rosy for some people (for I am embarrassed to admit that I would kill some people if I had the chance to do it without too much effort and ugly consequences for me) -S- |
