call it a hunch, but I think they made this entire conversation up out of thin air - not that I want to cast aspersions on the honesty of creationists
Oh noooo...not that "But, prof" stuff!

It's only a theory. It hasn't been proved.

Add "Dr." Carl Baugh's Creation Evidence Museum and Medicine Show to your list. There you can read his original doctoral dissertation (which curiously appears to have gotten longer since my last. Maybe it should be called his "doctored dissertation."), or see the progress of his new ark-shaped museum (but his trailer exhibit will still look and sound like it belongs in a trailer), or just do some perusing to see how evilutionists got it flat wrong. And don't forget to check out his "Creation Exploration" for the kids. Start'em out young, I always say.

Yes it's typical cretinist circular reasoning.

If bible said that dog poo was good to eat, then the cretinists will be eating it. And if it made them violently ill then they would argue the that is Satan trying to turn them away from their faith

"Mainstream" YEC creationists are TOO MODERATE. By accepting the satanic theory of heliocentrism instead of the true, Bible-verified system of geocentrism, they have given away the game to the godless scientists.

It's all here & more at this website: www.fixedearth.com.

I bet they like prawns as much as I do. In the immortal words of Homer Simpson: "sacralicious"

Quote:
Leviticus 11:9 - "These you may eat, of all that are in the waters. Everything in the waters that has fins and scales, whether in the seas or in the rivers, you may eat.

Leviticus 11:10 - But anything in the seas or the rivers that has not fins and scales, of the swarming creatures in the waters and of the living creatures that are in the waters, is an abomination to you.
But such tasty abominations! Prawns, mussels, oysters, octopus, calamari. How delicious it is to defy His literal word!

Just in case you missed it the first time:

Quote:
Leviticus 11:11 -They shall remain an abomination to you; of their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall have in abomination. 12. Everything in the waters that has not fins and scales is an abomination to you.
Obviously written back in the times when redundancy was an appreciated literary device. I estimate that you could slash the bible by half, just by sending it to a competent editor. It happens again in deutoronomy, too.

Sorry for going off topic. I just like seafood and those nasty biblical literalists will take it away from me.

Ye gods, that After Eden cartoon was bad. It was so unfunny that I find my ability to laugh considerably diminished after looking at about ten of those abominations. It has sucked the funny from my life; In fact, it may be worthy of the designation "Funny Vacuum".

Has the nutcase McNamara been posted yet? Take a look at his site and imagine America under his reign (I kid you not. This guy wants to run for office).

I propose prison reform. This will be as follows:
-Prison cells will be made smaller. I would set this to approximately 1/2 of their average current size.
-Prisoners kept in their cells 24/7 (i.e. NEVER leaving their cell during incarceration).
-Prisoners will only be fed bread and butter.
-NO contact with ANY other human being during incarceration.
-NO TV, medical care, or entertainment of any sort.
-NO sunlight will penetrate a prison cell.
-Disobedient or rebellious prisoners can be beaten by the guards as punishment.
-ANY inmate that attempts to escape will be executed on site.

But lets pick on some less obscure creationists...

http://www.jesus-is-lord.com/geocentr.htm

This one is by Malcolm Bowden. Note that True.Origin (the so-called rebuttal site to T.O.) had the author write an article for them on the subject of astronomy!

http://www.trueorigin.org/moonmb.asp

And lets not forget Tom Willis who wrote those thankfully sacked Kansas Science Standards has long been reputed to be a geocentrist. New Scientist had an interview with him. It is no longer on its web site, but NMSR quotes it:

Quote:
Q Just for the record, do you believe the Sun goes around the Earth or the Earth goes around the Sun? A I'm sure your readers will love this, but I don't know. Every physicist who's looked at it seriously has realised that we don't know for sure.

That site is satire, right? I mean, a "National Dress Code"? Banning jeans? Er... right.
