Well, bone them all. Now I'm *definetly* going to the Godless Americans March. All this hatred, all this anger, all this ... *bullshit* has got me riled up. That march needs all the numbers it can muster.
I need me some "Bad Religion" songs right about now . --W@L |

I just printed out all 28 pages of the ruling from www.findlaw.com and will enjoy reading the whole thing tonight. Hurrah!

Falwell jabbered:
"This is probably the most dangerous ruling of any Federal Court in American history because it is a declaration that America is no longer 'one nation under God.'" Hahaha. Poor God. He must be hurt. But that's nothing. Democrat Susan Landrieu of Louisiana was just on the floor of the Senate comparing it to Dred Scott and Plessy v. Ferguson. |

What will a likely Supreme Court head count look like in your opinions? That Rhenquist, Scalia and Thomas would rule to overturn almost goes without saying. Who would be the other two justices, assuming the ruling is overturned? I don't see O'Connor doing so, and I am too unfamiliar with the histories of the other judges to offer guesses.

Darwin's Finch, when it comes to the Lawd Gawd Jerhovie, there are no political distinctions.
Anyway, apparently Michael Newdow will be on Connie Chung tonight. AFAIK, this will be his first public, national comments since the decision. --W@L [ June 26, 2002: Message edited by: Writer@Large ]
|

Gee, it wouldn't be a religious controversy without the Family Research Council having their say:
