I think I saw an ad for this before - it looks like they're having a little trouble getting it going.
$50 a year gets you two (count'em) issues plus a free book. The books are:
The Criteria for Authenticity sounds intriguing, but I'm afraid it would be another disappointment. |

I am sure it would be. Porter is touted on evangelical web sites as a "name you can trust" -- like NT Wright. <sigh>

The promo states, "The journal will focus on: - weighing of historical evidence relevant to the life and teaching of Jesus, and exploration of the significance of such evidence for understanding Jesus; - discussion of the historical methodology used in researching the historical Jesus; - examination of the history of 'historical Jesus research'; - explorations of how the life of Jesus has been perceived in the arts and other media through the last 2000 years."
