Women beheaded for not wearing burqha
Publication: The Times Of India
Date: December 21, 2002 In what could be related to a diktat by a militant outfit on an Islamic dress code, three women were killed in the Thanamandi area of Rajouri district on Thursday night, official sources said on Friday A group of militants attacked the home of one Mohd Sadiq in Hast village late last Thursday and killed his 20-year-old daughter Nosen Kousar. The militants then went to the house of Khalid Ahmed in the same village and took away his 22-year-old daughter Tahira Parveen, who was later beheaded. After that, the militants entered the house of Mohd Rafiq and killed his daughter Shehnaaz Akhtar. ... The sources said posters by the Lashker-e-Jabbar, an off-shoot of the Lashkare-Toiba, had been appearing in educational institutions in Rajouri for the past week asking Muslim women and girls to wear burqas and strictly to follow the purdah system. The outfit also asked teachers to wear sherwanis and has threatened to take action against those who did not follow its directions The place is in Kashmir |

That's terrible; it's both baffling and horrific how some theists find all sorts of stupid reasons to kill other people.

It is always horrifying to hear about the times when people manifest religious issues in such an extreme sickening way that it propels them to hurt or kill other people.
Anytime a belief causes you to harm another iindividual in any way, emotionally or physically then it is time to abandon that belief. IMO |

Unfortunately theists who kill for such reasons do not think that the reasons are stupid. To them it is a case of punishing the corrupted women --- it also has the added advantage of bringing back others straying, to the path ordained by Allah.
Sales of burqhas have soared. :boohoo: |

To the Contrary
Quote:
The so called Fundamentalists, the so called Extremists like Bin Laden, the Taliban, Hesbollah, Islamic Jihad, the Paki/Kashmiri Killing squads, are the REAL MUSLIMS. They are following their scriptures and the example of their heroes (Muhammad, Ali, Baybars, Sulieman the Magnificent, Murad, Timur e leng give them the example.) "Moderate Muslims" are FALSE MUSLIMS. Amergin Definition of Fundamentalist: 1. Oxymoron: There is no fun. Bit there is amentalism. "a" (lack of), "mental" (cognitive). 2. Christian Fundamentalism: Send me the funds, say "amen", and I send you a fake gold dove Talisman. 3. Ambrose Bierce on Puritan: Someone who has an abiding fear that someone, somewhere may be happy. yes, all good muslims know Allah is so terrfied of bare-faced women that he orders his male followers to kill them. in fact, allah seems so afraid of women that he orders his followers to oppress them generally, as well.
my my, seems like Allah and the christian God share a lot in common...... happyboy |

Last year in Saudi Arabia, an entire school full of girls burned down, killing all the pupils. The authorities had refused to let the girls out because they were not "suitably attired".
I cannot begin to express the rage and sadness that story inspires. |
