Yesterday I heard on O'Reilly's radio show him calling for a boycott of Canadian goods in hopes of pushing them into "depression". His reason for this call for boycott, Canada has humiliated the US by stating that if they capture Saddam they would turn him over to the Hague and not US authorities.
He also said that if Clinton plays golf with Chretian while on vacation "he (O'Reilly) would rip him apart. He thinks that Clinton choosing to play golf with the PM of Canada is some sort of afront to the Bush admin and that Clinton is attempting to upstage them. What a dipshit. |

This is why I don't watch Faux news anymore. Even reading second-hand reports of their idiocy sends my blood pressure through the roof. |

O'reily suffers from the same syndrome that many of us suffer from occasionally. He takes himself seriously.

Peh.
Anything that can attract the attention of americans to the value of canadian goods for the american economy is good. Even if it's an angry O'reilly throwing a fit. Sorry if I keep repeating myself about this, but canadian softwood lumber is good for the american economy. This is what ACAH had to say on the effects of additional import tariffs on canadian lumber for the american ecenomy: "However the countervailing duty is nothing more than a 20 percent federal sales tax being imposed on homebuyers. This, and any additional anti-dumping duties could add thousands of dollars to the cost of a new home. This would be especially problematic for families seeking to purchase their first home, and for the elderly looking for more affordable housing, and for the elderly looking for more affordable housing. According to U.S. Census Bureau calculations, the additional cost of these duties could price as many as a half million families out of the mortgage market." From: http://www.acah.org/Oct%201%20-%20Bush%20Letter.htm Canada exports raw materials and energy to the USA and then buys back manufactured products. Is it really in the interest of americans to damage the trade relationship they have with Canada? Soyin |

O'Reilly is out of control. The whole scene was quite comical. Why would anyone watch this joker and take him seriously? Why would anyone subject themselves to his chastisement as a guest on his program? Needless to say, I flipped the channel after his little tirade. What buffoonary!! |

Christ...every time I watch O'Reilly all I can think of "Why couldn't the doctors have had a freak accident when this jackass had his tonsils taken out?"
