Default Bush to develop controversial F-bomb

In a sudden turn of events, Bush has decided to move away from low-yield nuclear weapons and move toward the development of the F-Bomb.

"Dentonated nuclear weapons, even at very low yields can still become environmentally hazardous," stated Secretary of War Donald Rumsfield. "Therefore, we've decided to go the route of a more powerful F-Bomb than we have now."

Default uh?

What is an F-Bomb? Is that some kind of a neutron bomb, which I've hear don't leave radiation?

Wild guess would be that it's a reference to a fuel-air bomb, which can (in theory) come pretty damn close to nuclear yields.

Neutron bombs leave radiation. They are fairly clean because they are burst high enough to avoid the fireball touching the ground and they are small. However, they are nothing but a properly jacketed h-bomb.
The greatest killer from a neutron bomb is as it's name says, neutrons. Neutron bombardment will induce a certain amount of radioactivity in most things.

It's a joke. "F-bomb" is what DJs call it when the "f-word" nearly makes it on the air.

See Gallagher's bit about 'oops' missles.

I think a good deterrent to the f-bomb is the now infamous shitbomb.

I know its just a cartoon, but on The Simpsons, Omega Homer, I believe, when the Neutron Bomb was detonated, Lisa said the lead in the paint on the house saved them from the neutron radiation. Problem is, only guard against neutron radiation is similarly sized elements, ie Hydrogen. Therefore, the savior to those to be attacked by a Neutron Bomb is a large body of water.

But as to what someone else said, this was a "joke", referring to the unutterable four letter word that is spelled **** on most web boards.
