Did Jesus Exist? Update
I continue to develop this web site dedicated to dialogue concerning the historicity or otherwise of Jesus.
http://www.didjesusexist.com/ New items on the site include a review of Habermas, a review of Wells and Price, a note on Trypho, a web page for the Price v Boyd debate, an essay on the seven apostles, Jesus Variants, Layman on Marcion, a compendium of citations concerning the Testimonium, and a significant etymological inquiry. Check it out. I would be interested in adding to the site articles and book reviews relating to the origins of Christianity and its literature. Some ideas are mentioned here: http://www.didjesusexist.com/wanted.html Even if you don't feel up to writing an article, feel free to give a suggestion as to what you'd like to see written. Thanks! best, Peter Kirby |

Just a question, what is your opinion on Doherty?

I think Doherty has made a great contribution to the debate and that other scholars should interact with his arguments.

Seriously though I know where you are coming from, I would say it's silly to say with any certainty one way or the other. |
