Post Oolon or somebody

Where is that picture you post from time to time, the one with the different hominid skulls from both the front and the side? I've been looking around the net and can't find it.

Thanks
JC

The picture used to be on Doug Theobald's site at <a href="http://ucsu.colorado.edu/~theobal/evolution.html" target="_blank">http://ucsu.colorado.edu/~theobal/evolution.html</a> but for now it seems to be offline. But if you go to the site index at <a href="http://ucsu.colorado.edu/~theobal/" target="_blank">http://ucsu.colorado.edu/~theobal/</a> and look in the folder <a href="http://ucsu.colorado.edu/~theobal/comdesc_XHTML/" target="_blank">comdesc_XHTML/</a> you can find some of the graphics from the original site there, including a modified version of that skull chart:

<a href="http://ucsu.colorado.edu/~theobal/comdesc_XHTML/hominids_horiz.jpg" target="_blank">http://ucsu.colorado.edu/~theobal/comdesc_XHTML/hominids_horiz.jpg</a> (small)

<a href="http://ucsu.colorado.edu/~theobal/comdesc_XHTML/hominids_horiz_big.jpg" target="_blank">http://ucsu.colorado.edu/~theobal/comdesc_XHTML/hominids_horiz_big.jpg</a> (big)

It would be better to use the URL of the Talk.Origins Archive:

<a href="http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/section1.html" target="_blank">http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/section1.html</a>

The main URL of his "29 Evidences for Macroevolution" is at:
<a href="http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/" target="_blank">http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/</a>

It is more up-to-date than the version at:
<a href="http://ucsu.colorado.edu/~theobal/comdesc_XHTML/default.html" target="_blank">http://ucsu.colorado.edu/~theobal/comdesc_XHTML/default.html</a>

I would ignore what is in at his university account and move any links to the T.O. location.

Thanks chaps. That is such a useful pic, I've not seen such a long series actually side by side like that anywhere else. The old site being off-line has been a nuisance.

I see he's labelled and divided up the pics now, which is much better. And the new edition of the 29 Evidences is much improved on the old one. I'll have to re-read it .

Cheers, Oolon
