I can't see the pictures, please provide the links.

I am more horrifed by the pictures of dead Iraqi children and civilians. Soldiers choose to take the risk of dying in battle, children have no such choice.

I don't get it.

I've seen allmost all of those pictures on US TV. Except the ones that are close ups of the dead, which I've seen elsewhere, but like I've said elsewhere, the US media didn't show close ups of death after 9-11 either so I don't see a problem with their decision here.

I actually agree with Liquid if ya can believe it...the US media really doesn't show up close blood and gore. They'll show explosions and body bags or covered bodies at the most.

No, but the parents of these children had a choice - to face the oppression of the brutal tyrannical Saddam regime instead of having more children born into it.

The cost of liberty is the willingness to fight and die for it. If you are complacent and a coward you will have to face the consequences of death, whether yours of your children's, under brutal conditions.

Yes, but if our homeland was invaded, even for justified reasons, would you just lay down and let them kill your children and destroy your home or would you pick up a gun.

You expect the Iraqi people to do just what exactly against an invading force? They tried rising up against Saddam in GWI and we promised to support that effort then left 'em out to hang...I would be a little gun shy about trusting America
