While the statements about Islam were bad enough, the above quote inplies a much wider scope of intolerance, as it takes aim at EVERY non-Xtian religion (or lack thereof) instead of just one.
Is this significantly different to some posters here who take the attitude that everything can be blamed on religion?
Some here would seem to have all religions within the scope of their intolerence too.

While some atheist may take the position that everything can be blamed on religion, I would disagree with them.

Many things can be blamed on religion, though, especially the intolerant fundamentalist strain.

The Falwellian vision of xianity contains the same kind of dangerous non-thinking as radical Islam, though I would have to concede that in recent months the Islamic fundies are ahead in the scoring for religious-based crimes against humanity.
