That article just makes me more anxious for my impending move to Canada.

I was thinking I lived far enough north as it is, but Canada is sounding more like my kind of country, especially if people like Bush and Company continue to rule here.
(Not really seriously thinking of moving, but good to know I'd better check out the employment situation first if I change my mind.) |

I'm from Canada and have lived in the US for the past few years. There really is a significant difference between the two societies and I'm glad that more Canadians are starting to define themselves as more than just not being Americans.
Now with the US dollar dropping like a rocket and the Canadian economy on the upswing much more than down here, my reasons for being in the US are getting less and less every day. |

Canada rocks! I've only visited once and loved it. I loved how people said at least we don't have the blatant injustice that you see in America, and as a French born American I had to agree. Is there a city famous for its strong software industry in Canada?

Pretty much all of canada's major cities have a decent ammount of software companies. If your interested in games, try Vancouver or Edmonton or calgary, or anywhere else in canada, most of the financial stuff though, is in toronto or ottawa.
EA->Burnaby->close to vancouver Bioware->Edmonton Just a small list of those i'm most familiar with, |

Hate to burst your bubble. But you should seriously compare health care in the US and Canada before you move there. That is if that's something you will need while living there.

Do you have any information about health care in Canada? I haven't met any Canadians who had serious problems with their system.
