Hovind's response to AIG's "Maintaining Creationist Integrity"
http://www.drdino.com/cse.asp?pg=articles&specific=77
Of course, Hovind doesn't so much as respond as simply post responses he has gotten via email. But it's still funny that he starts out as saying, "Since I have no desire to get into a spitting contest over issues that are so minor in the grand scheme of God’s work and there are much bigger fish to fry, I have not responded to their article but scores of others have." And ends with, "I still believe my answers in my FAQ were right and would be glad to discuss them with anyone." Of course, the funniest part was definitely, "I also want to maintain creationist integrity and work hard to do so." |

Of course Sarfati is correct that certain Hovind arguments are wrong. Of course Sarfati would be even more accurate to say that virtually every word Hovind says is wrong and that AiG's track record is nothing to brag about either. The letters are probably right about the financial component to AiG's attack on Hovind. Add a bit of power and leadership of the movement as well. And to be fair they realize that having a well known YEC making argments that bright 8 year-olds can see though does not help their cause in the long term. The letters obviously do not point that out or Hovind would not have published them. |

Hmm. Not a good title for this thread, methinks. As far as Hovind (and others who's names are familiar to all) is concerned, "Creationist Intregrity" is a contradicition in terms.

Anyhow, how does his statement advance his position? The Icthyosaur and her baby died while the mother was giving birth, they get buried, and fossilized. Honestly, did this Hovind character even graduate high school? |
