Hi everyone
I’ve been a heavy lurker here for over 12 months, registered 6 months ago and as I made my first post yesterday, thought I’d introduce myself.
I’m 31, been an atheist for as long as I can remember and live in the UK (where at least I’m not subjected to the extreme level of religious fervour some of you guys have to put up with in the US). I’m a PhD research scientist (supramolecular and solid state chemistry in case anyone’s interested) and in my spare time play a lot of guitar and read. Having lurked here for so long I’ve read some great stuff, many times seeing things written that I’ve also thought or wondered but could never have put into words half as elegantly. Not to mention the many other ideas and excellent questions I’ve now got in my arsenal to hit Theists with. This place is a mine of information not to mention a good place to relax. I’ve also had a good laugh recently reading the random, inconsistent gibberish of David Matthews, not to mention the other various ‘Head-the-Balls’ (a Liverpool term for a nutter) who pass through here. Now that I’ve got that out of the way hopefully I’ll now post more often. Take it easy people. |

Sure can. I was wondering why it was here, but I guessed that you had planned on posting only in this forum...
