This is probably because even fanatics like Falwell consider most of the old testament obsolete although he would certainly never admit it. They will even disregard parts of the new testament. I don't know of any American Christian churches where women follow Paul's command to remain silent during the service. Not too many Christian woman today pray with their heads covered either. It's rather hypocritical since fundies often accuse those evil liberal Christians of ignoring parts of the Bible they don't like.

It sounds like and another "incubator story" with the hope that gullible Americans will go for it.

Do you think most Americans are paranoid and is the publication of such a story not evidence of this?

Though I haven't been able to find his book so far I did find this <a href="http://www.homa.org/Details.asp?ContentID=2137352748&TOCID=2083225413" target="_blank">site.</a> Please read the second paragraph at least. While this page does not include the beastiality references it does seem to portray a more accurate translation.

Peace,
Janaya

I also found this <a href="http://www.iranian.com/SetarehSabety/2002/April/Hosseini/index.html" target="_blank">story</a> of abuse.

<a href="http://www.iranian.com/Letters/2002/April/april22.html" target="_blank">Here</a> is the abuser's reply (scroll about halfway down) within which he apparently quotes Khomeini.

Peace,
Janaya

If you go to <a href="http://www.faithfreedom.org," target="_blank">www.faithfreedom.org,</a> then there is plenty of authetic material for you about Islam in the modern age.

This appears to be true!

<a href="http://forum.faithfreedom.org/viewtopic.php?t=1013&highlight=tahrirolvasyleh" target="_blank">This</a> is from the forum you recommended hinduwoman. Please note particularly Ali Sina's replies.

I am very glad to hear that his books are banned in Iran, but saddened to hear that a lot of other mullahs apparently agree with him. It also appears that some people use his writings to justify their actions. (See previous story link.)

...interesting that a muslim site is called 'faithfreedom'!!. Maybe 'death to the infidels' or 'believe or die' would be more accurate.

lunatic.retired,

Have you actually read their site? As far as I can tell they are against Islam. Can you quote from the site where they are advocating Islam?
