Cool ...

Okay, now that I know, I'll never utter it again. Except in an academic way, perhaps.

Also an impossibility. You want more neutrons, you make more radiation. It's just that simple.

The greatest killer from a neutron bomb is as it's name says, neutrons. Neutron bombardment will induce a certain amount of radioactivity in most things.
Yes. The greatest thing about the neutron bomb is that it kills all the people without destroying the city. There are a ton of strategic uses for that sort of device... but for some stupid reason, civilians in the late 70's thought it was barbaric, and the program was dropped. Much better to kill people AND blow up their houses than to just kill people and leave the houses standing. :banghead:

I suspect some people would rather not blow up anyone at all, much less riddle their bodies with radioactive particles leaving them to eke out their last days with horrifying radiation poisoning.

Those people were probably successful in getting rid of the neutron bomb but just unsuccessful in getting rid of other bombs (the incendiary kind which the common person was more familiar with). *shrug*

You are saying that in jest right? Please! I so hope that wasn't a serious thought.

Making a weapon of mass murder, that makes taking over land so easy is so dangerous, because mass killing becomes too easy. The biggest reason the Nuclear weapons haven't been used is because of its side effects, NOT because of its power!

In a sudden turn of events, Bush has decided to move away from low-yield nuclear weapons and move toward the development of the F-Bomb.
I think a good deterrent to the f-bomb is the now infamous shitbomb.
Bush is going to create a big fart bomb and drop it on some poor helpless country.

Well, there's also the infamous Nuclear Sex-Bomb.

I know its just a cartoon, but on The Simpsons, Omega Homer, I believe, when the Neutron Bomb was detonated, Lisa said the lead in the paint on the house saved them from the neutron radiation.
Just for clarification:

That story was "The Homega Man" in one of the Treehouse of Horror Halloween episodes.

I know this because besides being a total Simpsons geek, I just like saying "Homega Man."
