Hi danyboy809
hmmmm where should I start? I believe in the afterlife, it gives me comfort to believe that I will be seeing some loved ones after I have died. I have this belief that I am going to see my twin sister after I die. I was born an identical twin and my sister Sarah and I had twin to twin transfusion where I got all the blood supply and she died. I hope to see her one day and have her save "gimme five sista"... also Prayer comforts me, I feel that none of us are alone here and that we are all part of something bigger than this life. I get comfort from that somehow... I guess basically I believe because I want to believe... |

My goodness! That is a rather difficult question to attempt to answer with any degree of verifiable accuracy. I believe that one would need to know a great deal about Nature(Evolution/Biology) and Nurture (Environmental Conditioning/Socialization)
At the moment, I don't believe that humanity knows enough about the Brain-Mind interface to be able to provide any definitive or reliable answer. So I suspect that my guess would be just as appropriate as anyone else's. Answer: CURIOSITY and FEAR |
