Weakest argument.
Curiosity.
Paste the weakest, most easily-refuted-with-5-seconds-thought arguments you've ever come across. I'm writing this because of this one here Quote:

A friend once argued that if there is a what, where, when, how and why in questions about the universe, there must be a who as well. I explained to him that the word "who" is merely an anthropomorphic form of "what". The rest of the discussion sounded much like the Abbott & Costello routine.

Ouch! Jason's face must still be red after that one. Mine would be.
Once, just after doing a wildlife presentation at an elementary school, I and the students were informed by a teacher that God, in his wisdom, gifted venomous animals with a means of capturing prey and defending themselves, with feeding the top priority. "But no animal uses it's 'poison' for a single purpose," she continued. After packing the snakes in their travel cases, I slipped over to her and softly murmmered, "Honey bee." doov [ November 24, 2002: Message edited by: Duvenoy ]
|

Embarrassment is here Shame is all relative. |

Sometimes they will do it for you. A Theist informed me that it was scientific fact that the grand canyon was only a few hundred years old and that geological layering had been shown to only take a few decades (something about comparing how oil and water separate into layers and that the same principle applies to rocks and dirt of different types, it just takes a few decades to separate out). Later on I was pointing out the problems with the story of Noah’s Ark and my theist friend quickly pointed out the flood was a fact because geologists had proven a flood happened right when the bibles said it did based on the layer of flood silt in the geological record......

I like the argument, "how can we come from a single cell (humans from bacteria)? It's just impossible."
I guess a zygote isn't considered a cell. scigirl |
