Geesh... What happened to "drop it, it's over". I guess that doesn't apply to gloaters.

Must've been somebody else. And, I don't think it qualifies as "gloating". I think it's more "not suffering fools gladly", "kicking the clueless', or "making fun of the handicapped". "Gloating" would be if Shanks and Witherington graciously accepted that they'd been mistaken and made a public statement to that effect, and then we mocked and berated them. C'mon, Haran, when Shanks continues with his pathetic grasping at straws, he invites mockery. godfry Personally, I'm surprised he hasn't claimed that the IAA is anti-Semetic. |

If you want a good laugh, check out the most recent customer review of the book on Amazon. Talk about not giving it up.

Vorkosigan:
He should Goggle for "Weapons of Mass Destruction." Gloaters: "We're up to our ears in gloaters! 'Can I have a gloat?' they say. We shout, 'You heartless gloater!'" Anyways, this does rather seem like not only has the fat lady sung, she is accepting the bouquet. This reminds me of some of the gymnastics performed by people who wanted to save the Shroud of Turin. --J.D. |

It's still pretty easy for one to say that the IAA's decisions were a slanting of the facts due to political pressures in the country. I would hope this is not the case, but it is still a remote possibility. I still now lean toward inauthenticity, but that could change if there is any new evidence. By the way... When are they going to arrest Golan if he's the forger like everyone seems to think??? What are they waiting for? Every day that slips by makes them look like they either bungled the case against him or never had one to begin with. |
