No. GOD isn't responsible for anything because it doesn't exist.

If he does than he's also responsible for me eating sour cream and Trisketts for supper last night, and for my cat's insistance on eating every photograph left lying around the house.
Clearly he has some work to do. |

Theoretically speaking, everything that happens happens according to God's plan. If it wasn't part of God's plan, it never would have been allowed to happen. And anyway, what else would God make, other than the best possible world? Nothing of course! So take comfort in knowing that the best possible world is one in which many of us are atheists.
