It's amazing how many Christians come here asking questions of atheists, then are at a loss for words when we actually have answers.

Yes, it is amazing, isn't it?
I've been noticing lately how theists have not really engaged me in discussion at all when I respond to their posts. For example, kingjames1 hasn't given me a response in <a href="http://iidb.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic&f=45&t=001259" target="_blank">this thread</a>, Seraphim refuses to respond to my vicious disembowelment of his "argument" in <a href="http://iidb.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic&f=13&t=000180" target="_blank">this thread</a>, and Tercel hasn't responded to me in <a href="http://iidb.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic&f=50&t=000651" target="_blank">this thread</a>. I wonder why that is? Sincerely, Goliath |

Goliath, they are looking for easy pickings. Any Christian that burst onto an atheist board as if atheists had no reason to think as they do, full of conviction that if only they could talk to the poor atheists perhaps they could see the beauty of Christianity are severely reality challenged. It would be as if I thought I could arrive at a theist board and with a few clever posts make anyone an atheist. It is another example of how Christians live in Lala land.

Oh ye of little faith.
Look, BreezeinaTree knew this was going to happen. It is only because of our impatience that we feel deserted. But if you look deep within yourself, you will find that your doubt has already been quenched. In II BreezeinaTree 8:1 we find, "A few of you think I've gone...I have not." You are all not the first doubters. Doubt is natural, but as we see in II BreezeinaTree 8:2 , "I've been busy at work and at home". This is what we would expect. We are the sinners. The ones that post all the time, allmost every day, worshiping the false idol that is ii. And in Verse 4 we learn that she predicted the doubt we see around us now, "Again, if there's a delay, don't assume I'm gone." Who else could have known? Could have such insight? I think the answer is obvious. I know it's ont easy. Nothing worth having ever is. As it says in I BreezeinaTree 4:6 "Rather, he was like you all--he wanted to be convinced" She knows how hard it is. How much you want to see the evidence. She know this better then any of us because, as stated in I BreezeinaTree 1:4, she is "an Electrical Engineer" with "with Highest Honors with a Masters in EE in 1997". Listen, sometimes we all just need to relax and think about the big pitcure. Please, if you take anything from this, remember you just need faith. I BreezeinaTree 12:7 "So don't take my absence to mean I've backed out. " |
