subcreationism
Are we subcreations? It once seemed that only God could make life, but now man is starting to do it too!Ive read of an artificially made bacteria designed to eat the oil in spills, something that does not exist in nature. We are also learning more of genes and cloning, related subjects. What if billions of years ago God(some unknown factor)did create an intelligent life form, which evolved and learned for a huge legnth of time, and thats who made us.I call that the subcreation hypothesis, and though I personally dont like the idea,it seems plausable. What if were really some kind of biological machines, performing some function we are unaware of ,or even a forgotton hobby, like an ant farm of a child.Im not saying we are,but it could be.Its even possible the so called"space aliens"some people believe in are who did it.I am not a believer in space brothers ect,but i cant deny it either.I am troubled that recently a cult called the Raelians are saying similar things, but I had these thoughts years before I heard of that group.Id hate for the whole idea to become unpalatable just because of these oddballs.
