Question Why?

This has nothing to do with any beliefs or anything. Just wondering - WHY this forum suddenly so quiet since the start of US-Iraq War?

Hmm, I have no comment on that, just stating my observation that this forum has never been a hotbed of activity.

I think it's ironic you choose to post that question in the non-Abrahamic forum when the heart of the war is the clash of two Abrahamic ideologies.

Maybe the Xn and Islam forums are livelier.

I think a lot of people get confused and think Islam is a non-Abrahamic religion.

Cool

I just post it here because not sure where else to put. Besides not everyone here is a Christian or a Muslim.

Everyone here like holding their breath all the sudden and waiting for something ... what? You expecting the world going to come to an end soon?

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you meant the "Non-Abrahamic Religion and Philosophy" forum was slow. Did you mean that all of IIDB in general was slow? Well, that's because I was on vacation last week.

Took me a while to realize that ""Non-Abrahamic Religion and Philosophy" was where people might talk about zen.

Though I enjoy crossing swords with you and others Seraphim, and I especially enjoy the eastern religions, being generally more humane and sensible than the monotheistic ones (though no more true) I have had a hard time thinking of topics I am qualified to discuss here, as my background is "western".

Hmm ... OK. And there rest are still vacationing? Maybe I should think about doing the same thing, been while since I'd taken time off to sit down, shut up and relax.

Oh yeah, most of you here are Atheists, but that doesn't stop you from talking about Christianity (or about anything related to God), does it?

... and Non-Abrahamic Gods/Goddesses, non-Abrahamic religions, events related to non-Abrahamic religions etc ...

You're a Westerner? That should make things tough for you, right?
Tip : Learn.

Whether its true or false lies in how a person lives in such religions, not what someone says here.
