Thanks to Dark Jedi for the update.
Why did they change the name ... maybe Constantinople sounded too Christian to their taste. Credibility is not something Muslims are very famous for. For example, I cornered them once by asking them to show ONE Muslim society or kingdom IN 1,400 years since Muhammad that existed WITHOUT the help of any Non-Muslims' help whatsoever, WHERE the Muslims were peaceful, highly learnt and highly respected by others. They couldn't produce one because they is none, so they come out with a make-believe society called Andalusia. Check at the internet for it. Hmmm ... I never been a father of a whole society before ... can understand how God feels like ... oops ... that's a lightning bolt coming my way? |

Disclaimer: I realize everything Boro Nut utters is a joke.
There is dispute about the land bridge, and for that matter, the idea that the first people to discover America were Neanderthal-ish. There's also dispute about when. Some scientists claim more than 50k BCE. And while I'm ranting, wasn't the question "Who was here first?" Not, who was here first who made some (ill-defined) difference? If archaeology means anything, white people were here almost dead last. We just can't seem to go anywhere without mucking up the local culture, spreading disease, claiming land and "conquering" in the name of some sovereign. d |

Living in a Christian dominated society, its easy to forget that there are other religions out there that are just as full of it. Islam is just comming the the stage that Christianity was a thousand years ago. Ready to take over the world at any cost. America would have much more succes on the world stage if our leaders would come out and say, "America is a secular nation, we do not promote or suppres any religion, We will not recognize any government whose laws are subject to religious rules." Never happen, Christians, Jews, and Arabs will most likly destroy this world before allowing everyone to live their own life, and worship or not as they please. Better the whole world destroyed than to have someone running around worshipping a false God,(or worse, pointing out that there is no God.)
Of course, Islam discovered America, invented democracy, founded modern science, and everthing else, unless it was Christians, or Jews, or was it Hindus, well anyway, it sure couldn't be those stupid humans working on their own! |

Moderators, this shouldn't be an islam-bashing topic, right?
