How does a filibuster work?
Although I had a government class in high school years ago, I only vaguely remember that filibusters allow someone to talk about any issue for as long as they want to prevent a vote on another issue. I'm not sure if this is correct or what more there is to a filibuster. Therefore, could someone explain it to me.

Thank you. Of course, I now need someone to explain why I just didn't look it up myself? This hurts, but I deserve it. :banghead:

Go directly to your nearest video store and rent a copy of "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington"
