Default Specifics plz

If one was to not believe in a God, even as Jesus not being a God, but believed Jesus was a "great philosipher" and followed his teachings, would that make a person a "Christian"?

Would you as atheists agree with the Philosophy of Jesus?

If there was not the belief in diety associated with Jesus, would you claim to be a follower?

I guess what I'm asking is;
Is there one person that you would claim association with, for your beliefs?

No you would not be Christian - if you don't believe Jesus was God the Son ( or the word of God come to earth in the flesh) and died on the cross to pay the debt for your sins, and was ressurected 3 days later - you are not Christian - many people like to call themselves that though, but they aren't.

Sure, I think you can be a Xn Agnostic or Xn Atheist.

Reposting myself:

Um, what is the "philosophy" of Jesus?

If you pull out all the red words from the Bible, how many you got? Maybe a couple of pamphlets' worth? There's more written on the toilet stalls in the men's bathroom at the Whiskey-a-Go-Go.

And what do they consist of? Occasional rants, disconnected sayings, mystifying parables, hyperbole about eye-gouging and whatnot.

And that's the "enlightening" stuff. Most of what he says is "Follow me" and "Lazarus come forth!" and "You shall deny me thrice before the cock crows."

Peoples have been beating their heads for 2000 years trying to figure out what the fuck Jesus was talking about.

The philosophers I admire define their terms, present their assumptions and systematically formulate a worldview.

So, no, I don't admire Jesus as a philosopher.

I do not recommend following the diety of Jesus. The wafers have little nutritional value and that wine is never gonna get you drunk.
