Wink Ashibaka's $250,001 Creationism Challenge

I am absolutely fed up with Creationists trying to jab evolution defenders with the imaginary pitchfork of Kent Hovind's "challenge".

So, I started my own challenge. So now, when the subject comes up, we can point out to all those Creationists that money-wise, we trump them in challenges! (Yeah, there's Randi's challenge, but you know how well these people can whine about the meaning of "paranormal"...)

<a href="http://home.attbi.com/~ashitaka/creationism.html" target="_blank">http://home.attbi.com/~ashitaka/creationism.html</a>

Do not complain about how unfair this challenge is; I took it nearly verbatim from Hovind's page (fixing it to remove his stupid opinions about evolution).

Is this just a "god was a first cause" type thing or do you have to prove he did it 6000 years ago exactly as described in Genesis. If the later, which version of the myth are you talking about?

As long as you're making the offer as phony as Hovind's, why not offer a billion $$?

Good point! Hovind's wording screwed up my Challenge a little (he wanted people to prove option 3, which is the same as the option 3 in my challenge. Great "evolution challenge", huh?). I'll fix the wording so it's clear we're talking about Creationism.

[edit] On second thought, then I'd have to rewrite the whole thing. Well, it's an impossible Challenge either way, so whatever.

Don't forget to point out that you have to prove ALL other possibilites wrong. Some examples are

Apparance of age

The IPU did it.

Other God's did it.

The Devil wrote the bible to decieve people

Remember, to emulate Hovind's offer, you first have to flush logic and reason down the shitter.

Go nuts! Demand interviews with the alleged witnesses (Noah and his family for the flood. If you want to include flood geology) Full color video tapes of the events! etc.

If you'd like to help me write a full-fledged silliness website like that, I'd be glad to but I have so much schoolwork to do and so few hours in a day. X_x; Ah, well, the Institute for Unicorn Research does a good job already.

I await the reports of your challengers with baited breath (baited breath is why I have so few friends).

Hovind is considered an embarrassing clown even among much of the YEC community. I greatly enjoy just keeping track of his antics.
