An atheist wearing "Religious zealots are responsible for 9/11" is the same as a theist walking around wearing "Hitler was an atheist too".
Except for the fact that zealots were responsible for 9/11, and Hitler wasn't an atheist.

That being said, i agree that we shouldn't be too militant most of the time.

Don't sand next to me please with some of these placards---I'm not looking to get pepper-gassed!

Gimme one of those nice E Pluribus Unum ones. Or perhaps Church/ State Separation Protects Us All?

My "what the ell" idea was "NOTHING FAILS LIKE PRAYER", with the top of the 'L' in 'FAILS' billowing smoke, and a plane about to hit the 'I'.

I don't think that would go over too well though.

No, it wouldn't go over well, which is a big part of the reason why it is brilliant.

Question

Thanks for all the feedback so far. I especially like "Church/State Separation Protects Us All." Now a question. I've actually been around here awhile - I'm User #8 - but when II changed to this format, I didn't care for it and went to another discussion, the Den of Infidels http://boards.gamers.com/messages/overview.asp?name=prembone

But now I'm back and happy to see a few familiar handles. What I'm wondering is, who among you, do you know, is planning to attend the Godless March? I could attend solo, but I'd rather hook up with sponsoring organization Internet Infidels. Is anyone here coordinating II members' attendance, or has info on what hotel they/you may be meeting in?

If I was going to the march, my sign would say simply:

Second class citizen.
Maybe I would wear a sandwich board with it.
