Magus, ever heard the phrase "it takes one to know one"? Well, I grew up as a freewill baptist, a denomination very much part of the southern baptists convention. Your religious rhetoric since you've been here is almost word-for-word what I was forced to endure for many years in sunday school, church services, bible school, bible camp, etc. Call yourself whatever you please, but from my experience, you are a fundamentalist christian of the SB flavor. And the SBs view you, as a self-proclaimed Jew, as anathema. Tolerance of belief and plurality of culture is definitely not virtues SBs cherish. |

And for a Jew, Magus55 does not seem very familiar with the Old Testament; several of the notable men in it had had several wives. |

Because God forbids sex outside of the marriage, and since He said there is no marriage in Heaven, you do the math.
Your "math" doesn't add up. There won't be any marriage in heaven for god to forbid sex outside of, remember. And I assume there will be no harm that could come from sex in heaven - no evil and shit in heaven, right? Even no sin in heaven? So how do you know god would consider sex a sin in heaven in and of itself (remember earlier you said we had no idea what would actually go on there)? Is god just that hung-up about sex? If so, why did he create it as the general means for procreation in the first place, and make it so much fun in the process? Is sex in and of itself evil? |

We're starting to go pretty far afield here. Unless we can get back to something resembling a B,C&H topic we might want to bump this over to GRD

Does he say that you must get a marriage license pay a fee with money and get married in a church in front of your minister? Unless there is sex in heaven I find no reason to want to go there.I would rather be with 72 virgins as long as they are female. |
