Why would you assume that I think ONLY zen is talked about here? My statement stands by itself and doesn't benefit from your 'clarification'. Why did you think your statement needed clarification? I just added for benefits of whoever else who maybe reading MY messages of what else this column discusses, besides Zen. |

This forum is for Non-Abrahamic religion and philosophy. Christianity is an Abrahimic religion. So is Islam. The war has nothing to do with Non-Abrahamic religions. The "Political Discussions" forum has gotten a lot of traffic since the war. Maybe what you are looking for is there? I just wondering why this column and along with a few others seems to be quiet all the sudden. That's all. Before the war, there were more activities where people come and go, talk, chat, curse, whatever else they do but now ... I don't know ... I just sensed that everyone seems to be like holding their breath and waiting for something to past over ... that's all. |

Good - I understand. And maybe my point does need clarification: eastern philosophy IMO shouldn't be lumped in with non-Abrahamic religions.
I was wondering ... should we make comparison between both (Abrahamic and non-Abrahamic religions) such as their values, follower's beliefs etc? I always think such discussion about comparisons is a healthy thing to do, but I don't think everyone will agree with that. |

I don't know about others, but to me, the war is another reflection of the miserable 'reality' that we are currently living in. Of course, I'm currently busy as well (but not because of the SARs or the war). |

I think we should study ALL religions and beliefs, to an extent. My thinking is to find and examine the common threads. Good luck ... don't see why you need to burden yourself with such task in the first place. |
