Dont' worry. The Board of Game meets again in November, so at that time they could open up the season to ALL bears, including the white ones.

So polish up your guns, boys!

Quick everyone shoot it before the scientists use it as an example of evolution! Hovind is loading his tax-exempt rifle as we speak.

That bear better be glad he's not a buffalo. This town's main claim to fame is a white one of those, which was immediatly <a href="http://www.roadsideamerica.com/pet/buffalo.html" target="_blank">Blasted</a>

That doesn't surprise me, being that it happened in Texas...

Remindes me of the Kermode "Ghost bears" of the British Columbia coast. A whole population of white bears.

<a href="http://www.ronthiele.com/kermode/spectrum.html" target="_blank">http://www.ronthiele.com/kermode/spectrum.html</a>

THere was also a "golden cedar" in the Queen Charlotte Islands that was cut down by vandals a few years ago.

Beautiful animals!

I never could understand shooting a bear unless attacked by one...in which case a 'scope would be redundant, but I digress.

I never would hunt for sport, only for food, but even though bear taken at the right time is said to be delicious, I still wouldn't hunt one.
