Psalm 96:10: "He has fixed the earth firm, immovable..."
...etc. Of course, even if this somehow doesn’t mean that the earth is fixed in space, it would appear to rule out earthquakes...

Earth has foundations
Thou didst set the earth on its foundations, so that it should never be shaken. (Psalms 104:5

Earth rests on pillars
For the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and on them he has set the world. (1 Sam. 2:8)

Earth doesn't move.
tremble before him, all the earth; yea, the world stands firm, never to be moved. (1 Chron. 16:30)

While the real Flat Earth Society has no website, and may be defunct by now for all I know, there are plenty of apparently serious geocentrist sites out there...

I think that would make good fodder for a nutwatch! Paging Queen of Swords....Pagind Queen of Swords.
Good thing I wasn't drinking anything when I read that one.

Well, if the globe is spinning rapidly, why doesn't our atmosphere spiral off? Atheists tell us that the earth is spinning, circling the sun, rotating with the galaxy AND rushing away from the big bang. And neither you nor I can feel any motion!
BWA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA! . . . heh . . . heh . . . sniffle . . . BWA!HA!HA!HA!HA!

I remember a Murphey Brown episode someone laughs and asks the airheaded character "Corki," "Have you figured out why we don't spin off the the planet yet?" She storms off confused.

I never . . . ever . . . thought anyone actually THOUGHT that way!

Oh yes . . . because the "Atheists" [Boo! Hiss!--Ed.] tell us this we can discount it right away!!!

oh my....

clearly this person also believes that if he takes a flight in a concorde he will be pinned to his seat for the entire flight?

Now if the earth were to suddenly stop or change direction... then you bet your ass we'd notice it!
