I'll take that up when the opportunity presents itself. Alas, at this point -- using the toilet is good, walking naked in the front yard is not prudent, don't eat shoes, is about as far as moral instruction goes with my kids.
My three year old does go to a UU from time to time with my wife. But, still she's not asking questions so we aren't really addressing them (although we did specifically avoid baptism and theistic preschool). I do recommend the parents place bulletin board cited above at which I'm often a regular, although lately with moderator duties over at Political Discussions, I haven't had much time for it. My 11 year old son knows very well I am very very strong atheist. He even makes fun of me that I spend so much time here at the SecWeb. OTOH we live in bible belted Texas and Christianity runs galore around here. He thinks there is nothing wrong with believing in God but I hope to change his mind as he grows older. He does seem to realize that religious belief is kinda of silly but OTOH he is realizes his own mortality so its hard.
My older daughter grew up as a western Sikh(!) until she was 8 and then she showed some interest in Christianity while a teenager. I didn't prevent her from going to churches but now I regret it since her belief in Christ has grown considerably lately. But we both agreed to respect our beliefs and not talk about religion.
