Still new here, so I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I came up with this one while debating on another forum the other day. Just wondering if it's been used before:
"Surely it is better to wager on the existence of the life we know we have, rather than gamble on the existence of a life after death which may or may not exist." Any suggestions for a tighter phrasing would be appreciated. |

Live the life you have now, not the one that might never come.

Lord Asriel, and EvilTeuf, welcome to Internet Infidels.
We very recently had a thread rehashing Pascal's Wager, which was moved to our Rants & Raves forum- one of our other members, bd-from-kg, posted a very similar argument in refutation. This topic is not really a rant or rave; I will move it to Misc. Religion. |
