Right. The fact that a theory is testable, and may be called into question or revised pending new evidence, makes it invalid. Got it.

Wow, here we have yet another example of the fact that these people have no understanding whatsoever of the nature of scientific inquiry. On top of that, they assert a false dilemma here by stating that a revision of hominid phylogeny would threaten the theory of evolution. These people are scientifically hopeless. Their willful ignorance and deliberate distortion of fact is causing a level of hostility in me with which I’m uncomfortable. I hate them. There are far too many scientifically illiterate sheep out there that eat up this D.iscovery I.nstitute B.ullshit.

This is why my Baptist parents sent me to a Catholic high school. The local non-denominational Christian and Baptist sponsored schools were so scientifically illiterate that my protestant parents were willing to send me to parochial school where the science curriculum was sound and followed college texts. Actually, the Christian and Baptist schools in my home region were so scientifically poor that most public universities and elite private universities wouldn’t even recognize their diplomas. Their grads end up in community college or BOJO. U.

Interestingly, it is causing evolutionists to question some of the long held tenets of their theory.
What ever happened to the claim of censorship and how darwinism is a "sacrid cow" and the persecution of anyone who questioned it?

Quote:
"The Darwinists do not know how it's produced via natural mechanism and they don't have a mechanism. We've got an answer and essentially they don't."
Better to not have an answer than have a wrong answer.

According to Edwards, Darwin's mechanism isn't capable of creating a new species.
According to Answers in Genesis, denial of speciation is a strawman argument because creationists accept that.

Looks like AIG is wrong again!

Not only that, but this is a reason to reject all science, and use the Buy-ble for Truth!

That story about the Christian schools in your neighborhood is sad, scombrid. It's ok to be ignorant if you praise Jesus! (He would be so ashamed, I bet).

Thumbs down

Yeah, I heard them talking about this on the radio the other day.

Here's my favorite part:

Quote:
Essentially, that turns the evolutionary tree into an evolutionary "bush." It demonstrates that there wasn't a nice, steady progression from ancient hominids to what we are today.

"What it is, I think, is another big problem for evolutionary theory," Hartwig said.
When has the scientific community ever claimed that evolution involved anything resembling a "nice, steady progression" ?!?!? Evolution has always been a rather bushy and messy process as I've always understood it.

What a pathetic little article. Since when are Marks Hartwig and Edwards spokesmodels for the "evolutionists"?

Here's more wisdom from Mark Hartwig, PhD.

I had addressed this article on another board, and I, too, was dumbfounded at the "bush" comment. The authors' ignorance of evolution and phylogeny is astounding.

Or to just make one up or find the answer in ancient mythology.

With this thrilling conclusion, they have managed to drag themselves into the current century of evolutionary thought.

Imagine, it's only taken decades of trying and Pete knows how many fossils to get them to realize that the "ladder" view was wrong.
