That is just sickening. I hope the teacher not only gets fired but is also given some harsher penalties. It would be nice to stick a hate crime on him or something.

Kick this guy in the....what, no threats of violence? Ok, he shoudl be fired, banned from teaching, and sued for whatever he has.

Were I a Pulaski County tax payer, I'd be damn ticked that my school district was setting itself up to waste my money defending this suit (and eventually paying damages - I've no doubt that the plaintiff will win), caused exclusively by the stupidity of the school administration.

But I imagine a goodly percentage of actual Pulaski County taxpayers will blame it on the "evil homo fags".

Since I'm speechless myself, here's what an asshat had to say on a gaming forum I go to:

"They apparently assigned it because he was running his mouth about his sexuality. The school has every right to assign additional reading as a punishment. Make students smarter rather than waste everyones time by having them sit in detention. OMG NO it's a CRIME!

i wonder if people are surprised that teenagers who are gay are the most likely group to commit suicide.
