"Son of Beliefomatic" (for non-theists!)
A survey through "select mart" can be found here
http://www.selectsmart.com/FREE/sele...t=atheistphilo This survey allows you to find out which kind of non-theist you most resemble. A note of caution, however. There are popups, and when you complete the survey, you will be asked to provide your e-mail if you want to get a "copy of your results". Not knowing a lot about these people, I wouldn't do that because I would be concerned about getting on spam lists. However, you can click on "Show my Results", and you will see a list of your matches in order (you won't be able to get any more detail than that --the "click for more information" just takes you to a google search engine). My matches were: 1 Agnostic Church (II administrator and fellow Kansas Agnostic Bill's organization?) #2 Secular Humanism #3 Unitarian Universalism #4 Atheistic Paganism (Prembone?) #5 Ethical Culture #6 Pantheism #7 Scientific Pantheism #8 Deism #9 Rationalism #10 Transhumanism #11 Taoism #12 Atheism a la American Atheists #13 Freethought, Church of #14 Theraveda Buddhism #15 Zen Atheism #16 Confucianism #17 Randaism (Objectivism) #18 Relativism, moral/cultural So, my fellow IIers, where do you end up? (Edited to include my "full" profile) |

The top three on my list were secular humanism, the agnostic church, and atheism a la American atheists.
At the bottom are Taoism, Zen atheism and Theraveda Buddhism. Which kind of makes sense to me. Rob aka Mediancat |

Because I just did "Belief-O-Matic" (it says I should be a Reformed Jew, or perhaps an Orthodox Jew or Baha'i, but any of the liberal Christian faiths, or Catholicism would be fine), I thought I'd try this.
I got Unitarian Universalism in 1st place, followed by "Agnostic Church" and "Atheistic Paganism". The least popular three were Confucianism, Moral Relativism, and Objectivism. |

Filo, you probably hit that result because you answered "I agree" to this question:
The word "god" used in a naturalistic sense (the universe, awe, etc) is appropriate and usefull. [sic] |
