Post Holy Light

Hello everyone! I'm new here, and a relatively new atheist also ("deconverted" from Xianity about 6 months ago).

Got this in an e-mail from a friend:

<a href="http://www.holylight.gr/enmain.html" target="_blank">"Holy" Light</a>

Has anyone heard of this? I did a few Google searches but couldn't find anything. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

People who haven't seen it believe that the Orthodox Patriarch goes into the Holy Sepulchre and lights up the candles
Sounds a bit more obvious than godidit!

It's not even one worth investigating much - far too easy to fake. As miracles go, it's rubbish.

spontaneous generation of foodstuff in the african desert,
that would impress me.
spontaneous worldwide remission of cancer,
that would impress me.

a god who lights candles...
sorry that just doesn't cut it.

LOL. Of course, but try telling that to a Christian...

Anyway, no one here has a nice, thorough debunking of the event?

Why doesn't this cut it?
What if God did something more 'spectacular', say CREATE THE UNIVERSE?

Question

Am I missing something??? What claim is being made that needs to be "debunked"? I don't see a single miraculous claim on the website...

The claim is that a mysterious light appears in the Temple every year on Easter. In front of everyone there.

There's even video that can be found doing a web search on "Holy Light".

I couldn't find much debunking it online, would be interested to see if it's been studied.
