Post A couple of good Op/Ed columns

Here are a couple of good Op/Ed columns that appeared on the 4th in my local paper.

<a href="http://DesMoinesRegister.com/news/stories/c5917686/18616136.html" target="_blank">DM Register/Basu</a>

<a href="http://DesMoinesRegister.com/news/stories/c5917686/18618327.html" target="_blank">DM Register/Editorial</a>

It's good to know someone is thinking clearly around here.

It is unlikely this ruling will be upheld by the Supreme Court, a body introduced with "God save this honorable court!" The high court has allowed that such incidental words as "In God We Trust" on currency and "under God" in the pledge might not offend the First Amendment.
The thing that Christians don't seem to forsee is that in order to keep the phrase "under God" in the pledge, the Supreme Court will have to rule that is it meaningless.

And thus is in violation of the third commandment or second commandment, depending on how you order them.
