How the ressurection was faked?
False Memories Study
I couldn't help but notice the parrallels between the studies use of "sensory details" to instill the memories, and the accounts of Jesus' appearance to the 12, er, 11 apostles. "See my feet and hands". |

Your post implanted false memories into me and now I think I remember the resurrection was faked but I'm not sure

It is also possible that Jesus survived the Crucifixion. Crucified criminals usually took days of exposure, bleeding etc. before they died. Not just a few hours.

It's also possible the Romans threw his dead body somewhere, then one of the disciples mistakenly identified someone who looked similar as the risen Jesus and started a rumor. You know how those spread when aided by liberal amounts of wishful thinking and gullibility...

Since they did not write about it until some 300 years afterwards maybe just the ego was crucified within the mind of the beholder. It seems that this would be a logical explanation especially since that has been happening ever since.

People sometimes died under the pre-crucifixion scourging process. Whether you lived or died quickly depended on whether the Romans wanted to prolong the event or not. They were experts at it. Yes, I suppose if they took someone down who was alive then the victim could survive. Crucifixion, with the victim surviving, is a not incommon gangland punishment in the UK. However, the Bible records that the Romans did not break Jesus legs because He was already dead. I trust the Romans not to have made an error!! malookiemaloo |

The reason to write in a faked resurrection years after the event was supposed to have happened was to assert that Jesus was God? Best, Clarice |

Maybe the NT writers just wrote in a resurrection to prove to readers that Jesus was God. Maybe there was no body in the first place. How can we believe that a person can come back to life? Best, Clarice |
