I'd like to see their reasons why Raelianism and Planet X reptilians aren't to be included. THey're also theories about origins that are alternatives to evolution. Pity about not including God, but then this isn't a religiously motivated movement at all, right? So the creation scientists should welcome these other alternatives.

Here are the objectives for Cobb's high school bio class--presumably the scientists are atheists idea is covered in the "Science is a Human Endeavor" section. Quote:

Dang it! I serious hope I can convince Wyatt Anderson to have a discussion with the Cobb County School Board. Not only is he the foremost Evolutionary Biologist in the state, but he is also the Dean of UGA's Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. Basically he is the man that gets most of the Cobb graduates that go to college. I'd hope he'd have some weight.

But seriously, I hope somebody there grows a brain and stops this nonsense. I have some friends who live there. |

Why do you think I live in Taiwan? I explained creationism to a group of student nurses I am teaching this summer, all females between the ages of 18-20. They laughed their heads off. A description of the Rapture brought another round of laughter. Only one girl in the class is a Christian, and the Xtian missionaries make very little headway here.
Of course, there are three or four who are currently trying to convince me that ghosts are real. Can't have everything, I guess. Vorkosigan |

Board member Teresa Plenge agreed. "There is validity in creation science theory as well. Both should be presented."
When the f*uck are these people going to get it through their heads. |
