What exactly does that little children thing mean? People try to explain it to me, but it is just stupid....why do Xians use it so often?

I think Christians use "child" because Jesus supposedly did.

Quote:
And they brought young children to Him, that He should touch them: and His disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God (Mark 10:13-14).
Of course, there are LOTS of different meanings which can be inferred from this "child" metaphor. I tend to lean towards the "children are young, gullible, and believe anything their Daddy says to them" definition, but that's just me .

Back to the original topic:

This is the second pagan gathering to be disrupted by Christians that I've heard of this year.

I haven't heard of any Christian worship services disrupted by pagans.

Now what does that tell you?

It tells me that the outnumbered are always more tolerant than their nemeses with the larger numbers. There is no doubt in my mind that if the pagans in question were the majority religion, they'd be pickin' on the poor Christians.

Well, there really is nothing in Wiccan doctrine to prevent one from actually picking on the poor Christians. And if people in power adopted Wicca in an attempt to have power, money and fame as so many do with Christianity they probably would abuse that religion like the abuse everything else for their own selfish gain. It is part of the established code within Wicca that they desire freedom for all people to pursue their faith or lack of faith and the only beef they have with Christians is the discrimination and horrors they have perpetrated against non-Christians in the name of their God. At least Wicca doesn’t have any holy book saying it’s Gods and Goddesses tell them to kill homosexuals, stone adulterers, hate Jews and kill anyone who doesn’t follow the ways of the Gods, or sell their daughters into slavery, it’s okay to slowly torture and kill your slaves, rape and incest are Ok if God says so and all the other horrific shit contained within most religions.

Even if a Pagan never picked on a Christian, the Christians need to feel persecuted would over ride and they would make up some shit and whine and complain anyway.

Godless Dave - Can you imagine the holy hell that would be brought down on a pagan group if they DARED do the same thing to a Christian gathering? I bet the police would have been there in a damned hurry and the pagans arrested for disturbing the peace or what no. You can also imagine what the Religious Right and their minions would have to say about the infringement upon their rights and the sacrilege of those pagans interfering with their God Given right to be assholes.
