Astral projection.
There is an ongoing debate at another message board I frequent, about whether OBEs are really out-of-body or just all in the head. Unfortunately, a lot of the people there are calling skepticism "just another religion" and we shouldn't trust science completely because "it can't explain everything".
I have had an OBE... I think. Happened in the middle of the night after waking up from a dream. It was damn cool, but I wouldn't call it anything other than a hallucination. The thing that gets me is that I've heard of lab tests where they'd put a card with a number on it up on a shelf or something, and someone would astral project during the night and read it. Can anyone offer an explanation? |

Do you perchance have any studies to show ? I never heard of any astral projection test being successful. I'd be interested in hearing what you found.

The only ones I have heard of are where they put a card on top of a shelf and the OBEr fails to read it.
Certainly one in which they did read it would be interesting. |
